Today I'm setting up and reviewing the Mr. Volcano stainless steel Hero forge! This is a great beginner blacksmith's forge that is only $80 on Amazon, which makes it perfect for a budget forge! This will be my shop's forge upgrade, and this forge is great for small blacksmiths/bladesmiths. It is a must-have for beginner blacksmiths and people who want to learn to forge knives. This forge build comes with instructions and all the components you need, and overall only takes about 4 days to assemble if you focus and take the long way on the opportunities of ways to build it. Overall, I would definitely recommend this forge to people learning to make knives, beginner blacksmiths, or anyone who wants to learn how to forge! As far as forges go, this is the best bang for your buck online (especially on Amazon.) First Try Using a Mr Volcano Forge to make a useful tool I saw some real blacksmiths trying out this little Mr Volcano forge so I bought it for $75.00 but I think the price has gone up recently (like everything else) I am not a blacksmith and certainly am not trying to teach anybody anything. I’m just having fun. This forge comes unassembled, and it takes a couple days to build it. It sure is a lot cleaner than my coal forge!!! The hammers I use are gifts from Howard 🤍cabotbluegill and my anvil is homemade with help from 🤍rchanger0804 I will make a simple meat flipper to help me grill some chicken thighs I am hungry now. So it finally got here guys. The forge has arrived. Now all we need to do is get everything set up and ready with the rigid Iser and the refractory. It’s probably gonna take me a couple days to do so give me some time.
