Covid didn’t kill anyone’s business. The government and people’s reaction did
I moved from LA to NY to pursue my career as a raper. LA is definitely safer.
Excuse me don’t you mean “Why is NYC better than LA”!
LA is an absolute sewage pit.
Besides the "Junk" flashing compulsion - CK is just not that funny - or worth the cover.
Young people today don’t have those options we are economically stunted and can’t afford to do anything on top of that a lot of those places and activities are dying because of the internet
That's so sad that Covid shut down all these places. If we could go back in time, I wonder if all the people who lived in fear, locked themselves away- (who truly believed that the U.S. Government and big Pharma really cared- and that the jab was gonna save them and defeat Covid) would they have done the same thing?
So glad I’m from the south with Waffle House. Been stationed in Cali for a year and it sucks not having anything past 11PM
CK has to politely lower his bandwidth here.
I agree New York was way cooler back then even though it may not have been as safe
UZQapY2xeIc&t=0m10s 0:10 stfu, joe. We all know your gay pool ended up in a bathroom stall stories. Let the best comedian alive guest talk, ya Opie Hughes.
After listening to Rogan for the past couple of years, I expected NYC to be a complete hellscape when I visited last week.
He seems to be repeating the same stuff from 2020, and feels kinda out of touch with the reality, because NYC feels alive and amazing rn. Granted, I spent most of my time in upscale Brooklyn and Manhattan, but still, I feel NYC is back.
New York, California and Chicago are basically the same place with the same people living there.
Sounds like the sloppy steak days.
I've been in NY since the early 80's. The delis & diners have all been slowly disappearing. Tough to find a good one anywhere in the city now.
Joe Isn’t funny.... Joe is an ordinary interviewer.... what the hell am I missing folks?????
I love the way these guys talk about being young in a big city... I'm from Miami and I have the same memories, just slightly different details... The Pool halls slammed with a bunch of super fun degenerates, everybody having a great time, talking shit, telling jokes, getting drunk and/or high, chasing tail, dancing and singing.... I miss those days, as we get older, they only get further and further away, but it's always nice to travel back there in our private moments and reminisce.
I truly feel pity for individuals who couldn't or wouldn't live such a lifestyle, at least for a short moment in time during their youth... whether it's because they had extremely strict parents, or they got a girl pregnant, or because they're judgmental assholes who treat "party people" with contempt.
They'll never know how much fun and full of happiness those moments are... sharing a beer with some strangers, having a late evening coffee with some friends, or a middle of the night monster dinner after partying for hours beforehand... then passing out when the sun is coming up, waking up in the afternoon, going to work and doing it all over again after work the next day.
european here and visited katz deli NYC once as a tourist coz of the film .. found it to be diiisgusting, food far from amazing 😂😂😂 go figure
Yup Jerry’s deli I wanted to go there the other day and it was gone
